So it's Friday and today has actually been rather eventful.  I woke up early (9 is pretty early for me) and took my filled out applications and delivered them to their respective places.  I got to talk to two different owners of places so maybe that will help a little.  I'm thinking I should go apply at the hospital because I hear they are looking for someone to be a transporter. 

I got to see my friend Sydney which was really fun.  I dated her for about 2 years and I thought it would be kind of akward when I came home and saw her, but it was actually really normal.  She is my best friend and it was really nice to be able to talk to her again, just kind of one of those things when you know someone so well they can tell what you are thinking just by looking at your facial expressions.  She knows me so well and I love when you can have a relationship like that.

My friends keep texting me and calling me from Rexburg telling me how Rexburg just "isn't the same" because I'm not there and it kind of makes me sad.  I wish I could be out there now because it would be so much easier to get a job in the summer like selling APEX or MOXY.  Since I already got accepted to the summer semester, skipping that semester is not an option. 

I'm ready to have a job and pay off debt to my mom, I hate having that hanging over my head!

Right now I'm sitting on the couch with my mom as she yells "bad squirrel!"  All the poodles are on their hind legs standing on the chest near the window barking up a storm.  On the tree in front of our house is a little red squirrel just sitting there taunting them, it's not even moving just sitting there staring at all the dogs.  Skipper looks like some sort of alpaca or something and Pumpkin looks like a little orange kitten. 

My mom has constantly been on my case about getting a job and although I know it's important it absolutely sucks!  I desperately need money for my mission which is approaching quickly.  My bishop keeps reminding me I need to make an appointment with him so we can talk about starting my papers.  I can't wait to go!  I took a mission prep class out at school and every day I went it made me want to go more and more.

 I wish so badly I could be on the winter track out at school, I love being home but being home till April won't be as fun as I thought it might be.  I know I will be working like a mad man (once I get a job) and all my friends head back to school this Monday.  I wish I could just go back out to school and get it over with, but I guess there is nothing I can do about it.  I'm excited to go back though, Rexburg actually grows on you if you can believe it.  I think the main thing I love about it is the people.  There are so many people out there and every day I meet someone new.  People are very social and I love the fact that you can leave your apartment door open and random people you don't even know will walk in and say hi to you. 

Although I'm excited to go on my mission, I'm also very excited for when I get back.  Right now my GPA is relatively high and I love the feeling that I have so many options to choose from if I want to transfer.  The schools I had in mind were BYU in Provo, BYU-Hawaii, UVU, and Utah State.  I figure I will most likely transfer because I just think it will be fun to see what other schools are like.
